Makor is the only library in Australia that is open to the public and specializes in Judaica. Offers lending, reference and referral services on all subjects of Jewish interest. Resources are selected to cater for a wide range of patrons. Makor's collection includes books, magazines and newspapers, videos, CD-ROMS and public Internet access. Makor is the focal point for the Jewish Community Library Network which includes the libraries of the Australian Jewish Genealogical Society (Vic.), Australian Jewish Historical Society (Vic.), Kadimah, the Holocaust Museum, the Jewish Museum of Australia and the Sassoon Yehuda Sephardi Synagogue.
