Parkland Regional Library was formed in 1959 to bring cost-effective service to libraries across rural central Alberta. As the province's oldest regional library system, it supports libraries in the achievement of the best possible services for library users by: providing human and material support services as needed by libraries; and acting as a focus for leadership and communication on library issues.
