Khavaran Public Library is the greatest library among 54 public libraries affiliated to the Cultural- Art Organization of the Tehran Municipality. It has more than 50000 items and 2050 sq m area. It works 24/7 and it has the capasity for more than 750 person to study at the same time. In the end of 2002 it had 12500 active members.
