Sharif University has been founded in 1965, activating in science and engineering. A sum of 5500 undergraduate and about 2200 graduate students are studying and doing research in departments and research centers of the University. Central Library of the University (CLSUT) is in charge of the supplying and providing information in science and technology to support lectures and researches at the departments. CLSUT has 11 branches, one in each department. Purchasing and preparing of the books, periodicals and other documents are performed by Central Library for all library branches.
