The NOAA Coastal Services Center library is an entryway to the information needed to understand and manage the nation's coastline. The library serves as the only repository for thousands of unique coastal management materials produced in response to the Coastal Zone Management Act. Nearly 5,000 of these publications may be viewed on-line. Numerous maps, charts, textbooks, journals, videos, databases, and reference materials on subjects including coastal land use planning, habitat preservations, economics, laws, hazards, and vegetation round out the library's collection and are available through interlibrary loan.
