The libraries of the Major Seminary of the Society of African Missions (SMA) are the beginning of this collection. Later also donations of the Montfort Fathers (SMM), of the Missionaries of Africa (MAfr), of the Vincentian Fathers (CM) and of private individuals increased the collection. Culture and religion are particularly accentuated.
