National and University Library of Bosnia and Herzegovina Library Site http://www.nub.ba City     Sarajevo Country     Bosnia and Herzegovina Library Type     National Description     This Library was established in 1945. by the decision of the Minstry of education to be the Liobrary which was to serve as the national Liabrary for the Federal Bosnia and Herzegovina. In 1956. the UNiversity function was added. So today it is both National and UNiversity Library. Majority of its collections were destroyed during the war in 1992. Today effort is being made to reconstitute its collections and make the Library the focal point for continuing education of librarains.It is member of the CENL and IFLA.
