Privacy
LibDex is run by GW SOLUTIONS Ltd, Plovdiv, Bulgaria. This page explains what we store and why.
Browsing
Our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, page requested, browser type, time) for up to 30 days, used only for security and to fix problems. We do not use advertising or analytics trackers. The site sets one cookie, libdex, which holds a random session identifier used to protect forms against forgery; it expires when you close your browser.
Maps
Map pages load map tiles and the Leaflet library from OpenStreetMap and cdnjs (Cloudflare). Those services see your IP address when the tiles load. The "Near me" button on the map asks your browser for your location; it is used only in your browser to centre the map and is never sent to us.
Submissions and reports
When you add or update a library, or report a problem, we store the details you enter together with your IP address and the time, so that we can moderate submissions and block abuse. Your name and e-mail address are optional and are never published; we use them only to ask about the submission. Library details you submit become part of the public index once approved.
Library entries
The index contains business contact details of libraries (addresses, general phone numbers and e-mail addresses). It does not contain personal data about individuals. If an entry includes a personal e-mail address or phone number that should not be there, tell us and we will remove it.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by e-mailing contact@iban.com.
