Well over 9000 books, 6400 scientific articles, general journals, photos, newspaper clippings, books of reference and maps, a full registration of African peoples, countries and languages - all is since 26th February 2002 open to the public. The libraries of the Major Seminary of the Society of African Missions (SMA) are the beginning of this collection. Later also donations of the Montfort Fathers (SMM), of the Missionaries of Africa (MAfr), of the Vincentian Fathers (CM) and of private individuals increased the collection. Culture and religion are particularly accentuated.
